Short Bio:
Ryan Watson graduated with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in the spring of 2014. During Ryan's time as an undergraduate student he participated in several research projects. The research topics spanned from solid oxide fuel cells to computer vision for the NASA Sample Return Centennial Challenge. Ryan was also President of Engineers on Wheels which is an organization that is dedicated to getting local middle school students interested in STEM careers.

Ryan completed his Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering in Spring. For his master's thesis, Ryan implemented and validated tightly-coupled Inertial Navigation into JPL's GNSS Precise Point Positioning software, RTGx. He spent the summer of 2016 as a JPL intern.

When not in the classroom or research lab, Ryan has a myriad of activities that he enjoys. One of his biggest joys is snowboarding. He has been an avid snowboarder for the past ten years. Ryan also enjoys reading. Some of his favorite authors include Allen Ginsburg, Tom Robbins, Aldous Huxley and Albert Camus.
