Course Definition:
This course introduces freshman engineering students to general problem solving and design techniques through a five-step process using computers. The course emphasizes structured programming techniques to solve engineering problems using the C programming language. Readability and documentation are stressed in the development of programs and solutions. In addition to numerical computations, students will also be introduced to data analysis and visualization using the MATLAB computing environment.

Homework will be Emailed to you by the TA. The due date for each homework assignment will accompany the homework. Your answers will be Emailed back to the TA. No excuses are accepted for missing the homework deadline - Plan for it.

Projects:
There will be two projects. Completion of both projects requires a written technical report.
