Oilfield Data Mining Short Course at SPE Annual Conference, Denver, October 2011

PEARL Director Shahab D. Mohaghegh will be teaching a two-day short course at Society of Petroleum Engineers' annual technical conference being held in Denver, Colorado during the last days of October 2011. The training course is designed to familiarize industry professionals with the latest developments in the Oilfield Data Mining.

Pearl is dedicated to developing the next generation of petroleum professionals that are trained with the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining (AI&DM) and their application to all aspects of exploration and production industry. The short course includes introductory and theoretical background to Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining and field applications of this technology to oil and gas production optimization and reservoir simulation and modeling.
