Control of Silica Dust Class - Multiple Locations

WV LTAP will be host a new course Control of Silica Dust in Moundsville on June 18 and in Martinsburg on June 19.

TC3 Free Online Training - Local Agencies

Online training covering a large range of transportation topics has been developed by TC3 (Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council), a program with AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials). This training is already available to WVDOH employees. Through an agreement between FWHA and AASHTO, this training is currently available to local agencies free of charge through June 2019.


Public works employees from local agencies will need a code to receive this training at no cost. Please fill out this short form to receive instructions and access to this free training.

Work Zone Safety App

A new Work Zone Safety app developed by ATSSA has been recently released and is available for FREE.


The app provides quick access to useful field guides and has a calculation tool to help develop a traffic control plan.

Build a Better Mousetrap Competition

Have you or one of your coworkers recently built an innovative gadget? Have you developed an improved way to accomplish everyday tasks? If either of these are true, you've built a better mousetrap and now is the time to show off the project your roadway agency is proud of in the WV LTAP's Build a Better Mousetrap Competition.
